Is Learning Bowenwork Right for Me? 


  • Anyone can learn Bowenwork, whether a licensed professional or not.  
  • You will be able to help your clients, family, friends, and even your furry companions with the simple, yet effective, procedures you learn in this class.
  • This four-hour class is a quick and fun way to give you an opportunity to examine fundamentals of this technique in a relaxed environment among others who prefer natural, alternative therapies.  
  • Classes are small in size which allows for personalized hands-on training while learning.
  • Class qualifies for 4-hours Continuing Education Credits (NCBTMB)

Tuition is $395 per module if paid 22 days prior to class or $425 per module thereafter; $75 registration fee due on first day of class; this class is taught by Karin Twohig, senior instructor and Joy Marcinkowski, instructor in training

"The Bowenwork certification program offers a rich learning experience where students are mentored every step of the way by experienced and caring instructors.

Our modular training system includes lecture and demonstration, hands-on practice with real-time feedback, meaningful self-study assignments and plenty of review.

Professional Bowenwork Practitioners complete 340 hours of training in order to become certified by the American Bowen Academy. This training includes:

212 hours in the theory and practice of Bowenwork, (including classroom training, the preparation of 10 case studies, and a minimum of 50 hours of logged hands-on practice)
100 hours of anatomy and physiology
24 hours of business and ethics
4 hours CPR certification"
